Getting one

A Scarab is built at the forge from a Scarab blueprint. A dropped blueprint has 5 uses.

Material Quantity
Veskar 268
Pirite 151
Helspar 38
Solstine 21
Dark Triton 36

Quantities are for a Normal blueprint. Building a hull covers the forge, research and what rarer blueprints cost.

Where the blueprint comes from

  • NPC wrecks and loot containers can drop the blueprint.
  • Boss wrecks can drop it.
  • It can appear in the Ganden quartermaster's stock from the rank of Recruit. A quartermaster blueprint is faction issue: it cannot be researched and the Scarab it builds is always Faction quality.
